The Dolley Madison would have to rank right up there with one of my favorite moderm commemoratives.

This is about early commems? If modern counts then I’ve got several. @ Che_Grapes. The 2008 eagle is my favorite too. I have one tucked away.

@jzyskowski there are many cool designs on early commemerative coins. I like the Vermont the best, but you can check out the different designs and choose which ones you prefer.

Of the classic commens, I think the Oregon trail probably has the largest number of fans. So here is another:

Vermont has been my favorite since the 80's. Oregon trail is great, but Vermont is a one year thats tougher to find. Post a favorite of yours.

This one is not in my hands yet, but should be very soon. Its also will be my first coin that has a CAC. CAC was not in existence when I acquired 95 percent of my collection.

I believe this to be the intended design but was changed because at the time buildings/structures were not allowed on coins...,

The 2023 Morgan looks like it has duck lips and the 2023 Peace hasher mouth open . They look strange and the way they are frosted these days looks way too granular for me. I prefer the way cameos used to look.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
