    prohibitively rare - for specific coins for which demand far exceeds the extant populations
    dreck - used it until I used the term on here years ago (my old account name) and was picked up by others
    handsome - usually for outstanding, warm, natural toning
    commodity coins - high population issues (like 1889 Morgans in MS63) that might as well trade as commodities, with the exception of rare die varieties.
    scuff magnet - referring to 1921 low relief Morgan dollars and ICG slabs
