As I recall, this is a 65 (business) day submission:

Order Type: February Special (Sports Vintage 1989-Older)
    No. of cards: 17
    Shipped: 2/18/2023
    Arrived: 2/23/2023
    Order Prep: 2/24/2023
    Research & ID: 2/24/2023
    Grading: 2/25/2023
    Assembly: 4/21/2023
    QA1: 4/22/2023
    QA2: 4/25/2023
    Grades Ready: 4/26/2023
Shipped: in progress, probably later today

I'll let you count the days, but this appears to me to be under 65 business days as they estimated it would be.

I got a TCG special back in a little more than 30 calendar days a few weeks back. A second took a couple weeks longer, but that was because it was held up do to PSA damage. Must be why the TCG special is back again, not getting enough to have to pause the demand.

For the TCG Special how many days was advertised by PSA?

    What does Assembly mean?

Assembly means labels are printed and (eligible) cards with applicable label are sonically sealed in plastic case.

I can't recall if it was 65 or 90. Arrived 3/1 and shipped 4/3. Value bulk specials that arrived 1/5 took about 60 days.

I seem to remember there was some kind of workaround, but in general, leading off a line with an octothorp causes that.

Thank you. I switched out the octothorpe, and it worked.

Just an update but my first Vintage Special that had been in Grading over a week went to Assembly Thursday morning and just showed up in Q2. It's looking like it will be out in just a bit over 65 days, and probably at my house next week.

I am surprised that it took almost 2 months from the Grading stage to the Assembly stage!

Mine are 1970 Topps Baseball so that might explain it. 8 cards.

I got the 02/27 order back in my grubby hands Monday! Decent grades considering they were mostly 70s. The highlight was a 9 of the 78 Trammell/Molitor rookie card.

I have been noticing that all of my orders with pre 1980 cards seem to be taking longer in grading. Cards from the 1980's to today seem to be moving through much faster. I'm fine with the slower processing of the older cards so that PSA can do an accurate job grading them. Much harder to grade them than all the shiny stuff.

Same here. I’ve had some other orders, specials, etc with post-1980s cards that seemed to move faster. I currently have an order consisting of 1978-older cards that’s been in grading for almost two months.

I have a vintage order also entered 03/07 that’s also been in grading for about 6 weeks. Based on the one I got back this week (entered 02/27) I expect it in about another 1.5 weeks.

I have 2 more subs about ready, and it pains me to think I won't see them until beyond Labor day.

Has anyone gotten back a dual service order recently? I'm waiting on a post-1980 Value order from January. 87 business days (123 calendar days) and it's still in Research. So much for that estimated 75 day turnaround.

I sent in seven invoices of 75 cards per invoice back on Feb. 17, 2023. One invoice has been completed and returned on may 12, 2023. The other six invoices are still in for grading. I assume all these will be done this month as we are approaching 90 days.

Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases
