Just picked up this beauty from the post office. Really could not be happier, it looks better than I expected. It is also the final piece for my All CAC Double Eagle Type Set ( https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/alltimeset/318382 ).

Wow, that is stupendous! Looks MS to me, but I suck at grading gold. Either way, that is a dream coin! Huge congrats on finding it! That's a hell of a nice set you have sir!

Fantastic coin to add to collection. A hole likely to remain empty for many of us.

Probably not. I think it has a fair shot at + with our hosts and would retain the sticker but I'm not selling anytime soon so no particular reason to pursue it.

Well done and nice job finishing the set!!! Love your HR.

Also think you can add a link to your profile as a signature of sorts for a quick easy access to your set if you don’t want to have to repost the link often.

I'm curious. Can you see the rub or wear? Do you think it may have actually circulated at some point?
Hard to speculate, I'm sure... is there any dirt?

The rub is not distracting but it is there on the breast, knee, and toes & a touch on the eagle's wing. However, I'm very confident this is "cabinet friction" and that this coin didn't circulate. There are no abrasions or dings of any kind, no dirt, and just the odd tiny mark here and there. Granted ownership adds a point, but other than the light rub the surfaces and details look near gem to me.

I am glad you shared those details with us as I can not see the rub in the pictures. I agree with you that this coin was probably never in circulation........just stored away for a rainy day. I'd rather have your 58 and a new Porsche than a 66.
