Looking at past auction results, I think I just paid way too much for it, despite the CAC bean and the fact that I got a $100 discount off DLRC's original asking price. Oh well. I don't mind hanging on to it for the long run.
I always wanted one.

Looks nice LordM! Has a circ cam look.
Nice addition to your great collection LordM.... You are doing well... Cheers, RickO
Ah yes, thank you. Forgot that. I don’t think I’ve seen that movie since the ‘90s. I recognized Ralphie in the screenshot, but the Ovaltine reference was lost on me.
I shall avenge myself by posting an obscure Princess Bride reference in one of your future coin threads. LOL
Of course the numismatic Little Orphan Annie reference in my title was almost as obscure as the Christmas Story one…

I'd rather have your coin than so many run of the mill higher graded ones I'd say it was worth a premium personally.

Inconceivable! I will be VERY impressed if you can sneak one by me.

Ahh, you fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is "never get involved in a land war in Asia". But only slightly less well known is this: "never go in against Lord Marcovan in a Princess Bride trivia contest!"

Nice pick up
I learn something new everyday. Didn't know there even was a "Little Orphan Annie" nicknamed coin.

You gotta peel that nasty sticker off that slab!

I don’t know the price but I prefer the fields on the F15 you own to the VF35; the VF35 obviously has a prettier face.
I paid $500.

I like the originality and colors blended in with your dime. To me your dime is eye candy.

I used to own this 1844:
I have a 44 with the face missing. I bought because it was net graded. My other one has a face and is also net PO1.
