    Using my ANA grading standards book I'd put it at VF-35 or VF-30. I'm interested in what people who know the series better say as I am completely basing my answer on a book description.

    I think it's a 35 but I wouldn't balk at it in a 40 holder. Lovely surfaces.

    I'm thinking 40; very nice classic gray look and no significant marks.

    I'm also at 35. Nice coin. 95% chance to straight grade (my only concerns are the very small rev rim dings at 11:00 and the smutz around s3 and s9 - s13). Not sure what 35's go for, but I think you did good on getting a good coin.

    VF35 in my book. Looks like a wonderfully original example.

    It’ll go 40 if it grades, probably will, hard to say in photos.

    EF 40, although it looks original to me, I know that the sticker man doesn't like that uniform charcoal color on type coins.
