These jerks on Ebay are really full of themselves selling coins with made up descriptions they found on Youtube, Facebook or where ever. I just assume they are trying to crack accounts.

Ebay needs a "numismatic cleanup team" to scrub through listings and delete garbage ones like that. There are enough of them out there that it would be a full time job for sure.

Virtually no one with inaccurate listings sells those items for anywhere near their high asking prices.
You have to polish it off with a buffing wheel.

Agree. This seller knows exactly what he's doing and is trolling for a sucker. There's too many like him on eBay so caveat emptor.

RARE, all uppercase text, exclamation points, ellipses, asterisks, and emojis in a title tell the story of many bad auction pages by unscrupulous or witless sellers.
They have had several. The sellers complained too much and they were disbanded.

Totally get it, I accidentally gold plate things all the time. I am just thankful we were able to gently clean it back to BU. It would have been a shame to ruin such a specimen.
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
