I was just looking up the history on the draped bust about a week ago. Some info below for anyone interested.

All coins (copper and silver) bore the same obverse. Robert Scot, Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, 1793–1823, transformed a portrait of a society lady by Gilbert Stuart into a rather buxom Ms. Liberty. Some accounts identify the woman as Philadelphia socialite Ann Willing Bingham. She remained essentially unchanged for several years with the exception of an extra curl added to her flowing locks in 1798.

That’s a cutout from Jefferson’s presidential spouse gold medal pasted onto the blank side of a uniface medal I own. Since he wasn’t married they used Lady Liberty from the old large cents. I think they did a decent job in reproducing it. Here’s what the actual medal looks like

It’s the only presidential spouse gold coin/medal that made sense to me to purchase. I bought it from the mint when it first came out. I always thought the classic liberty design would make it a winner. I have no idea if it is now going for a premium over the other spouse medals or not though, but to me it should sooner or later

I've always been partial to this one, J-561. The only error I see is that it was never selected for a circulating coin!
