    Maybe a Fine-15. It is a very pleasing coin with quite a bit of circulation but no defects. In “the old days” it would have been a Fine-12.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Seems about right, F12 or F15. Nice circulated look that would fit in well in a circulated album.

    I think it is a bit better, with almost full lines under the breast, which puts me at 15 or even 20.

    Very attractive coin.

    I have this 1933-S Walker. It did not straight grade as our host deemed it to be "cleaned".

    So between the coin posted by the OP and my "cleaned" coin, which would you prefer?

    And why?

    SanctionII, your's every day of the week.
    If cleaned- not offensively so.
    Fully struck details, too, with a golden sheen.
    I'd take yours over a half dozen of mine.

    I would call the OP coin an F15.... @SanctionII ... That WLH, if put in an old envelope on a sunny window sill for a couple of months, might straight grade. ;) Cheers, RickO

    SanctionII, seems to have luster based on photo, in hand do you see any hairlines or is the luster really muted for a cleaned designation. Maybe it did sit in an old envelope on the window sill for that golden toning & was questioned by our host.

    Is there anything going on with the rim at 2:00? By the way I have no issues having that coin in an album and no question which I'd prefer.

    If this were one of the 1919 or 1921 trios, it would undoubtedly be in a VF 20 holder.

    I like it as a F15.

    I really like the 33-S as F-15.

    It has good, clean and honest wear. It looks great at that grade.

    Looks like the 37D above as PVC on the obv by the Y. Easy to miss with a quick view, but from pic looks like it. Good example for the other post about not obvious PVC. A dip in acetone should take it right off.
