How about a list of forum members expertise in various or single coin series per past contributions
Not trying to start arguments, but just would like to make a list available of forum members who have shown their skills in one or more areas of numismatics. This is to be by the other forum members. It would be beneficial to new members who when a member, new to them, offers advice they can see that this individual has the skills to offer that advice. Might help to offset angry responses in a coins condition or grade.

Search the archives for such a thing, I'm pretty sure it's already been done.

Would the list be pinned to the first page? Otherwise, I’m not sure how most newcomers would even see it after it fades off the first page.

I'd imagine most folks who would be inclined to respond angrily would also not be so inclined to do the homework to find a list of "experts" and read the list.

This is true, but most of the members listed there are likely no longer here or unable to respond. A more updated list could be of use.
You can to me for U.S. type coins in general. Other than that, it’s hit and miss.
There are others here who know a lot more than I do about specific series than I. I am a numismatic helicopter pilot who lands here and there.
Suggest that if you have a question about a coin, just start a thread with good pics and ask the question. You'll be surprised at how many responses you get. We enjoy talking about coins and helping fellow collectors.

There are many experts here on this forum.... Experts in general, experts in specific series, experts in VAM's, experts in varieties, experts in errors.... and more.... Best to post the question - with a specific title, verbalize the issue specifically, with good pictures, and answers will quickly be forthcoming. Cheers, RickO
There are a lot of us around here who have knowledge of a bunch of different series. Generally if you make a thread on a specific coin you'll get many responses as stated above.
That said, when it comes to better date and key date Seated coinage, I hold Rhedden's expertise in high regard.
