A large portion of my collection falls into this category.
Finally, a thread for the common man! 🤣 😂 👍🏻
I like circulated Morgans in addition to the BU. Here's some of my dupe S mints that were in an LOC album.

When hand picking "junk" silver, I cannot bring myself to pass up on the old historic coins, as opposed to the newer 90% silver with little or no wear.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Pretty much 99% of what I collect is circulated silver in F-VF. Morgan dollars, Barber halves and dimes. Apologies for posting this pic on here again but it sums up what I collect pretty well.
One of my favorite coins. I use this in my type set even though I have higher graded ones, but i have always loved this look of a nice mid grade circulated coin.

Just a 12.

Just the sound of this silver reminds me and takes me right back to the days I had a paper route as a kid on collection day. I had so much change and silver in my pockets, my pants would be falling down!

Circulated coins is where we all started... and for many, where our interests still lie. Sure, I have some Mint Proof sets, and I love the look of fresh minted coins. However, I also like the circam look of well traveled commerce coins. Collect what you like, and like what you collect. Cheers, RickO
That's one of the best looking type sets I have ever seen! Great eye!

I must admit - I was away from these forums for a good while, and did not realize until today that Mike Hayes had passed away in 2017 from pancreatic cancer. He was a great guy and taught me quite a bit about Barber coins, and V nickels in particular. So, in his honor, I will post a picture of the only Mike Hayes coin I own. It's only an AU58 common V nickel, and the photo isn't the best, but in hand it looks like a proof. Rest in peace, old friend.
By the way, Mike Hayes has a FindAGrave page here: [https://findagrave.com/memorial/235115801/michael-francis-hayes](https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/235115801/michael-francis-hayes)

That would be most of the coins I own. Here's one I particularly enjoy. I've posted it before, though maybe not in a few years. I bought it raw at a show in NH almost 20 years ago and it's still a pretty good example in my eyes of what a cool coin you can buy for the price of dinner.
Here’s my example. I received this dime in change over this holiday season. Now I can’t say this has never happened to me before. A 1921 to boot. It makes me wonder how long it’s been floating around out there in change drawers. It’s mine now😃
Amazing!

Picked up this 1890-O "cull" Morgan Dollar at my LCS yesterday for 32 bucks.

I will add it to my tube, with these other "cull" silver dollars.
