    Quarters

I do realize this can be a tough question.
My majority of coins would have to be the Quarter.
With a close Cent for second.

    Thanks

Majority quantity or majority value? Quantity is $1, value is dimes.

The answer to your question is dollars, but for reasons I can't explain, the quarters in my collection ended up being pretty nice, and I'm particularly drawn to them.

    Nickels

No doubt, Buffalo Nickels and quite a few Jefferson Nickels(I have sold 2 complete Jefferson Nickels BU and with Proof from 50 up) Still keeping a Buff set and short 10 for another set. Must have 100 or so spare Buffs.
Don't get me wrong, the early cents are my passion currently and probably my last.

This "majority domination" often changes with age and relative wealth.

I have about 2000 cents, mostly collected during my early coin roll hunting days. However, I haven't purchased a cent or a dime in over three decades and I'm about ready to sell off most of my smaller coins.

When presbyopia set in, I switched my 'focus' to larger coins such as half dollars and dollars and have about 500 US halves & dollars aside from junk silver, and about 150 Canadian halves and dollars.

It's dollars. It was closer than I thought as I sorted by denomination and my classic commems pushed the 50c quantity up.

24 1/2 Real in my TPG inventory: 16 Peru, four Mexico, and two each from Bolivia and Guatemala. Two more pending submission to be graded and hopefully one more to be soon purchased.

I don't keep track of my ungraded coins.

    Halves

Out of my slabbed coins, the largest group is halves. If you count raw coins in my collection, I don't know. If you mean out of every coin that I own, I have quite a few cents in my change bowl.

I just love the color of copper
I’m inspired much by Abraham Lincoln.
The 1877 Indian cent. The idea of an Indian on an American coin after all that happened to the Indians in this country. Kinda paradoxical
The 1856 flying eagle. Only 800 made for congress men and others. The rarity intrigues me
Not to mention the various ddo Lincoln’s
    55/55, 58/58, 69/69 and others
    I could keep going
    But yeah copper cents

    Half cents.

I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

    I genuinely don't know.
I'm all over the place lol.
I'd have to count them...it's never going to happen.

Do another poll with what denomination is the minority of your collection
    I could answer that lol.

    Halves

Coins in my collection, or coins in my various change jars? :p

    By value, halves, easily.

By quantity, I think it's a close run between nickels, dimes and halves.

I'll select halves for the answer.

Half dollars. I have all dates and mm's minted after 1801 with the sole exception of the1878-S, which is way out of my purchasing range. And I also have a 1795 bust half.

Collection focus is half dollars. Barber, Walking Liberty, Franklin and Kennedy series are in Capital Holders. Seated Liberty and bust halves in PCGS holders.

I focused on Morgans years ago...then Kennedy and Franklin halves...Then ASE's... So, likely the dollar coins win out - also have Peace dollars...I like big silver - and big gold. Cheers, RickO
