One Cap struck on flip over 5c and other on copper 1c.

The 1896 is most likely the most amazing Liberty 5c error known to exist.

I would consider a "set" and a "mated pair" two totally different things. A "set" of Jefferson Nickels can be put together with all different dates and mint marks.

It’s a ‘set’ but not a ‘mated pair’.
The nice thing about a set, is that anyone can create one for any reason. Here, it's nice that they are 10 years apart and both obverse die caps.
A mated pair is interesting because you can pair and obverse and reverse die cap together and only those two can be mated.
Being a die cap on a flip over is amazing!
