I'm too old to list all the jobs I've had, which no one would wish to read anyway. I will just say that I was in management positions with John Deere, Navistar(20 years till retirement), Gulf Oil, Commonwealth Coal of Kentucky, Montgomery Wards and a few others not nationally known. I loved the coal industry and the equipment industry the best. The customer's were the best and only wanted their equipment to operate daily. Very little lying or cheating. Now consumer sales sucked as customers were always lying. JMO

This was such a nice thread. @CoinJockey73 is clearly tongue in cheek and clearly in bad taste. And yes @Coinscratch that was uncalled for. And @Oldhoopster I don't know what to say.

Can you all cool your jets so we can get this very nice discussion back on track without your dog whistle politics and knee-jerk overreactions?

Sorry for the response. Just hit a hot button and I over reacted with a completely inappropriate post

Wouldn't it be funny if on a "What do you do for a living?" thread, some members got fired! 😂 🤣

It's not always easy staying between the guardrails.

Not on this forum, but on a facebook post, a person that I knew badmouthed his boss but the status of the post was public. Someone (not me) sent the post to the manager, that person is no longer working at the company. We were sent a new training a few months later on Social Media Etiquette (and what you could be fired for)

Yeaaaa, I knew better than to even think about entertaining that T up. And I don't know what Hoopster said but I'm pretty sure I agree with it. And, my apologies for interrupting.

It was not as much tongue in cheek as you might like to believe. This guy spent several weeks on the NGC forum mucking up threads and trying to cause problems.

Mucking up? You guys are so silly! Grow up! You old men aren't from this "woke" generation, stop being so sensitive. And that tiny little observation on our societiy threw you young ladies into that much of a tizzy? Don't worry, i won't be back here either. Man do i miss the sanity of CoinTalk.

    Facts:
Anyone who is even slightly effected by the words of a complete stranger on a public chat board need to reevaluate their lives. Seriously. Who am i to you? What are my beliefs to you? Absolutely nothing. You need to look at your spouse, you kids, your grandkids, and really think. If my silly words effect you, you've got bigger problems than you think. Suck on that a while you big babies.

No, no... some colors show up on the display, or maybe we move the leading edge slat automatically, or the pilot's column starts to shake... or all of the above.
