Curious what you all think? Also, what you would pay based on the pics alone….Is the coin FH?

Looks like a nice AU example. No on the full head. I don't see an ear hole. Nice looking coin thou.

Neat coin, although I'd be a bit concerned regarding the green verdigris, I see next to the knee.

Nice SLQ.... I think it will miss FH.... and the green on the obverse could be PVC.... Try an acetone soak. Cheers, RickO

The coin is back from our host, this will be interesting to compare comments before and after between my pics and the true view!

The experts may not think so, but I think it's beautiful. I felt that way after looking at the first pictures. The Trueviews are really sharp with some nice color. Only light corrosion on the rims. Looks like someone removed most of the copper chloride deposits.

It looks like an AU and the first set of photos would likely be a scan, in my interpretation of the images. I don't think it has PVC on it as I interpret that color to be toning if the images are indeed from a scanner. As for FH, I am often bewildered as to how PCGS applies their designations.

Gonna guess this came back with a 62 grade.

Full head but sorry to say this looks like it should have graded AU Details.

Attractive toning in the series is a tough commodity. I like the toning, especially on the reverse. Looks like there is still lots of luster beneath the toning and few marks. Im going with AU58, no FH. I think it is a great coin and Id be proud to own it!

I like the toning and would grade it AU-58.

No Full Head, I love the toning on it :)

    I would’ve said AU 58 FH

    An attractive AU55.

55 and no FH. It is attractive, but the verdigris would kill it for me.

Just an fyi for everyone looking, no verdigris, it is toning, and I did nothing to the coin after buying it…

To the ones saying no FH it doesn’t really get better than this.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Nice SLQ. It would fill the hole nicely for me.

Looks like a nice 55 to me.

Wow... the first set of images had me convinced that there was PVC damage around the knee, but it miraculously disappeared in the second image! I'm going to say straight-grade AU55-FH

    Interesting piece...

    Outstanding work!
Honorable mention to @williamf and @clarkbar04 …..the FH designation is baffling to me…i have sent more detailed SLQ’s in and not received the FH designation…
I wish you could all could see the coin in person, the Trueview is very accurate but does not show the booming luster…this coin resides in my “Box of 20” and will not be sold until my kids do!

Nice! I don't know the series super well but I agree, the FH designation is more than confusing sometimes!
I still think it could have been a 58+... ;)

woohoo! I would love to add her to my VChAU set.

Why I said FH. "Helmet Head" looks complete, with definition and separation, nice flowing hair area, and three leaves are crisp.

While I have seen some head scratchers, this one looked like a no brainer FH call to me.

    Great coin! Nice pickup <3

As an aside...a 58+ grade is like the Holy Grail! i submit 100 or so coins every year since 2010 and have yet to receive a 58+....someday! and whatever it is will not be sold!

I can get the FH designation correct 98% of the time.. this is one of those 2% I didn't, and not real sure why.

I still can't see an ear hole. Could be my eyes. Had the AU part right and if I could see the ear hole would have said FH.
