1923-S/S nickel. Typical reverse strike but no more than AU for sure.

I like this 1922 no-D Strong Reverse Lincoln Cent in PCGS VF20. It has what might be a mint-made head depression.

My favorite coin to collect is Carson City Morgan silver dollars.I kinda think this is my favorite coin in my collection.It also is the most I ever spent on a single coin also.The mintage on the 1885-CC is pretty low but the 1879,1888,1892and 1893 in high grades pretty much skyrocket.Funny how that works they must have got melted in the Pittman act.The 1885-CC Morgan even has a lower mintage than the 1916-D Mercury dime but a $1000.00 pretty much will get you a smooth looking almost slug.
That doesn’t somehow seem fair.Ha!Ha!

I started out the current collection with only MS coins and mostly gold, I have found the charm in original circulated coins with great eye appeal. Even if I upgrade this 77 IHC, I will most likely keep this current one as it's so charming...

Very nice coins in here.
Below are the close ups of the coins inside my graded GSA slabs of Carson City Morgans that had the OGP and COA.
There was a time when I was really obsessed with acquiring higher grade GSA "CC" Morgans and ofcourse the better looking ones always went for that extra monies that a younger collector simply did not have.
Acquiring the 1885 CC (NGC MS 64) was fun but somehow was not too happy with it in hand.
Hence the 1880 CC was picked up in MS 63
and the 1881 CC in MS 62 PL.
By this time my fixation on the GSA slabbed CC's started to wane because they all had quite a few flaws and weren't as pretty to look at, like some of the true view pics of higher grades had depicted.
Decided to scale back a bit more and got a few of the ungraded common dates GSA from the LCS.
The 1882 CC turned up as MS 61,
the 1883 CC as MS 62
and the 1884 CC as MS 63.
Ofcourse the last three acquisitions along with grading costs etc. was way lesser than the 1885 CC alone in graded form but it indeed was a very nice and invaluable learning experience for me as far as the GSA CC Morgans were concerned.
