Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

    I would say 25

30, a gorgeous one at that.

Some of you 25 guys are going to be shocked if it turns out to be a 40 which wouldn’t surprise me. I have seen a couple in 40 holders like this one, not that I agree with the grade.

    I’ll go with 30.

I hope none of them become TPG graders.

My first reaction before scanning down the responses was VF-30, and perhaps 35.

Clearly ANACS under graded this coin Go see Barber Coin number Two PCGS graded CAC'd

  • Options

Yeah, that seems like an easy crossover with a lot of potential for a better grade. Good find!

Once again, late to the game.... but was thinking better than 20. Seeing the slab picture, the surface/fields sure seem to show an old cleaning... Cheers, RickO

It was netted for the hairlines, I'm guessing. Still a nice coin for a '13.

That's a far cry from the quality expected from the 1st pictures! I withdraw my grade assessment and would want to see it in hand!

I expected that would be your reply. The second picture "slab and all" makes the coin look so much better. Don't cha think?

And why wouldn't it? A GTG should have accurate, representative pictures! If the coin looks like the 1st set of pictures it would readily find a place in my collection as a 30. If it looks like the 2nd set of pictures I wouldn't want it!

Why? Because the first picture looks washed out and cleaned. The second picture is a much nicer coin. Don't cha think?

Your opinion on both coins (see PCGS coin 2) was way under and way over "the grading services opinion" They do "Opine" don't they?

PS it's the same picture only not cropped and not enlarged.

It doesn't matter amwldcoin ! IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER ! The full picture proves the grade the single picture is what is to be graded. Here is another full picture. You blew it ! YOU BLEW IT !

Not only this one, but the VF 25 that PCGS graded and that CAC stickered. And your blowing it big time on the 1907-D

Coin Paesan has nicer coins and better pictures than you.

The services will net grade Draped Bust era material and pre 1815 copper with problems, and often look the other way re a light cleaning on a Bust Dollar, but I've never seen this with later material before.

Im truly very sorry if pointing out clearly false and misleading attempts to represent those as the same picture and then belittle people for guessing wrong grades from a distorted picture view has offended your sensibilities.

If i had only known you had figured out a way around the laws of physics to make different lighting within the same picture....you sir have blown my mind. I look forward to seeing your Nobel prize very soon.

Bullpoop! You gtg in the first picture. The first picture is what your guessing from, the jerk who's crying embarrassed himself.
    Get a job !

There are TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GTGs

    You are in error!

Yes they are and it doesn't matter the guy guessing was way off from an obvious vf coin. He fancies himself an expert. Your analogy of the GTG is ridiculous HE WAS WRONG AND MANY WERE MUCH CLOSER

No one said they were different coins.

The claim was that the pics were the same picture, just 'cropped' differently, which is clearly not the case.

    It's simply a lighting angle .

    It MAKES NO DIFFERENCE

The crybaby dealer is whining because he was so far off in TWO two GTGs first too high and second ludicrously too low.

That dealers cry baby explanations are nonsensical
Look at what started the discussion. He saw what everyone else did and he blew it.

If you get a life and a job maybe you can afford to buy a decent coin rather than problem junk.
