1982 D Lincoln Cent Possibly A RPM

So I got a new microscope and wanted to try it out today and this is the coin is stuck under it is this a Repunched mint mark or do these things really show things that I am not used to seeing? Also I’ve got a funny weight on this one So I tried changing the batteries and got the same thing!
THE ONLY THINGS I’M GREAT AT ARE BEING A FATHER TO MY SON CALIBER, HUNTING, AND FISHING! OTHER THAN THAT I NEED A YOUTUBE VIDEO TO TEACH ME LOL!! 🤣😂🤣😂

If anything, it's split plating
No matter the amount of pictures( which are great) the coin shown is not a rpm.

Nope - I think the distortion on the inside opening of the D is a punch problem. The RPMs have the same problem
01 & 02 from Wexler's website respectively.

They just don't make Zinc like they use to.
Have fun with your new toy, seems to be spot on.
Not an RPM or anything really. Should be 2.5 grams. I think you should calibrate your scale. Better yet, buy one goes out two places for grams. The tare button on your scale is worn out, so it likely has been used a lot and it may just be ready for retirement.
Like the others have said, those are some darn fine close-up photos.

Thanks for the info I appreciate it and kinda threw this out there before I really made sure everything matched up! But I did happen to come across a very good deal on a few items that hopefully no one minds me sharing! I know they may not be much to some people but to me, and what I invested in them, it was a steal! Paid $100 total for everything pictured and I think I did pretty well!!
