I have not seen one of these previously, so I luckily won it last week in an auction. Obviously, they made them, but I have not seen one before. Kind of neat. Hope you enjoy. Looks to hold 25 or so. Can't make it out, but looks like it holds about 20. Not sure of that.

And Louis Public Service Company ran trolleys. Maybe these token are child fare transit tokens. Peace Roy

    Stop "wining" Wayne. ;)

Did they call tokens "tickets" back then?

Trains have tickets. “Tickets please!” I can see a trolley system thinking of itself as a train.

Looks like public transit tokens for children.... Bus, train, trolley.... Cannot tell how many are in there.... if 25, then fare was 5 cents for a child... and that would assume a separate seat. Holding a toddler or infant was likely free. Cheers, RickO

Perhaps these are some how related. Same year and I like to think of a trolley/ train looking like this 🙀

An intact roll of transit tokens is probably worth much more than the individual contents. Take good care of it and don't be tempted to open an end just to check it out.

That was the only reason I bought it. I have never seen a roll of them before, even though I am sure they exist. Wouldn't open it for any reason. Thanks.
