Question about 1916 P DDO Buffalo

Looking for some confirmation on this coin as to if it is truly the DDO I’m looking for. I see strong doubling on face, neck, braid, ribbons, date, and feathers so am I missing anything I should be aware of thanks?

    Welcome to the forum.

Look at the date of the PCGS graded example below and compare it to yours. The answer should be obvious.

@Jerryspencer52 ... Welcome aboard. You have your answer from @MFeld ... Good pictures. Cheers, RickO

  • I have another couple of big DD’s with the same questions if you wouldn’t mind looking at them it would be appreciated

@Jerryspencer52 ... Yours does not look like the example @MFeld posted... The doubling is obvious on his example... it is not there on yours. Cheers, RickO

You’re welcome. The dates don’t look even remotely similar to me.

Sorry. You can look at different angles, zoom in, change lighting. It still isn’t the doubled die.

The coin you show is not the Doubled Die.

    Welcome aboard anyway.

He doesn’t even need to trust those who reply in this thread. All he need do is look at pictures of professionally graded examples and compare them to his. Actually, one more thing is required - making the comparison with objectivity/without dollar signs in his eyes.😉
