    To me this screams gold sets since prices on a lot of gold skyrocket at MS65

    I don't mind it, I do wonder if it will change the prices of AU58+ coins (which I have seen sell for MS65 money). At this time, it says a max of MS64, not sure if that means no MS64+ coins.

    I never heard of them until just now. For fun I just created some Everyman mint state type sets. I’m number 2 in a couple of them, but that’s probably cause they are so new and all I did was duplicate my circulated type sets into this new category. I’ll still just work on my circulated ones because I don’t want to buy a bunch of 64s. It’ll create a little bump up in demand for 64s and 64+

    It is a good idea. Many collectors would like to join 'set' competitions, but are excluded due to cost and grades. This will allow competition and pride in collections of that level. Cheers, RickO

    The only comment I can make is I just don't see the challenge. A 64 set of anything an everyman would collect is easily doable IMHO.

    I like the idea. The challenge sounds like it is to find the most eye appeal you can in coins up to 64. Now I wonder, since we're in Mint State instead of up to only 58, if there will be designations like say "full bands" for Mercs. I don't see them yet and I hope not, because I think that would wreck the idea.

    If and when it's ever doable I seriously doubt you could put a set of Barbers together in AU58+ for that! I know if the 1901-S in 58 out there ever becomes available I would pay more than 64 money for it!

    PCGS price guide has a MS64 set of Barber quarters at $215,000. I guess I don't even qualify as an everyman any more.

    The max is 64; no MS 64+ allowed.

    It may be that there has been too much emphasis on AU58s and MS66/67s and this was an attempt to broaden the interest of the collector marketplace,

    This type of set registry is a great idea. I am perplexed why MS64+ coins are not allowed. I emailed PCGS in an attempt for these top of grade coins to be included. It is "under discussion". IMHO, you can't exclude coins at the top of the MS64 grade. That defeats the purpose of having the most eye appealing, strongest struck, and best toners at the top of the grade. To not include these coins relegates them to be one off show pieces because they certainly aren't going to compete at the MS66-67 level.

    I am an AU58 everyman collector and I've submitted so many coins to be reconsidered for "+" grade. I'd do the exact same thing for a set in MS64 that has mind-boggling eye appeal/toning. It seems they may be missing out on some resubmission money and crossover money by capping at MS64.

    I love this idea. I finished a number of Everyman sets for fun. However, I prefer mint state coins. I also don't like paying crazy prices for top pop coins for the regular registry which is dominated by Hansen. I hope they add some more gold sets. I do think 64+ should be allowed but counted the same as 64 to prevent the same top pop price problem for this type of set.

    Why not? Many people collect in this range for affordability. AU 58 prices are nuts. Top BRN coins the same. Seems the average collector can’t get a break. There are tons of MS 64 coins dealers have that they do not promote as it is not in their best interest – until now. Will this bring up MS 64 prices – probably. But it gives more folks an opportunity to consider a registry set they can compete at.

    Why were Morgan and Peace dollars included but Seated and Trade dollars were not?

    I salute Mr. Hansen many accomplishments, he dominates the Seated dollar series with the two top sets. Please consider adding these two series to the new Everyman sets, this will allow other great collections to move up the rankings.
