You could have called this post 'Not for Walker Fans Only'. Anybody could enjoy this post. Great looking coins and one of the best US Mint designs ever- classic.
... and some real ones. Walkers are great... But I sold most of mine as 90% silver, in order to fund working on filling circ albums. These aren't mine, but mine looked pretty much like these...

Unfortunately, I don't even have one slabbed sample and all are raw in my Dansco 7160.
Not exactly the best specimens, but highlight was that it was cobbled together for 670$ (Dansco album included) - pics were posted earlier on another thread.
Hopefully get to straight grade a few of them when I eventually get around to submitting it and then get started to assemble an entirely graded collection.
I have been collecting the Proof coins from 1936 to '42 for a couple of years. The market seems to be pretty hot for them right now. This 1937 Proof half has been dipped, but still has a nice look. The NGC grade is PR-65.

Here's my 2 most recent walking liberty acquisitions. The 41 S I know won't be everyone's cup of tea with the dusty original look. But the strike and the luster are quite nice especially for the mint and date. This one actually finishes the 41 to 47 short set I started about 18 months ago.The 1935 S is the beginning of my 30s set. Love walkers.

This is a backdoor MS-66 which is even tougher to locate!

Easily the most beautiful coin designed by the US mint simply because great examples can be owned by anyone (unlike the Saints).

Cherrypick I sold recently - was formerly in a Whitman folder of "circulated" Walkers and graded MS64!
I got this one from David Lawrence to replace another coin I had with a couple marks too many for my taste. It's in a MS65 rattler.
