You could have called this post 'Not for Walker Fans Only'. Anybody could enjoy this post. Great looking coins and one of the best US Mint designs ever- classic.
... and some real ones. Walkers are great... But I sold most of mine as 90% silver, in order to fund working on filling circ albums. These aren't mine, but mine looked pretty much like these...

Awesome.
Very nice examples of the walkers on this thread.
Unfortunately, I don't even have one slabbed sample and all are raw in my Dansco 7160.
Not exactly the best specimens, but highlight was that it was cobbled together for 670$ (Dansco album included) - pics were posted earlier on another thread.
Hopefully get to straight grade a few of them when I eventually get around to submitting it and then get started to assemble an entirely graded collection.
I have been collecting the Proof coins from 1936 to '42 for a couple of years. The market seems to be pretty hot for them right now. This 1937 Proof half has been dipped, but still has a nice look. The NGC grade is PR-65.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
@moursund You are really working your message board comedy routine!
Well, there are at least 2 of us that think it's funny!

Here's my 2 most recent walking liberty acquisitions. The 41 S I know won't be everyone's cup of tea with the dusty original look. But the strike and the luster are quite nice especially for the mint and date. This one actually finishes the 41 to 47 short set I started about 18 months ago.The 1935 S is the beginning of my 30s set. Love walkers.

Wow im drooling over here. Has anybody noticed that the short set dates in 66 are getting tougher then usual??
This is a backdoor MS-66 which is even tougher to locate!
I don’t collect Walkers but I can appreciate the beauty and this thread has it all. Congratulations guys on some great eye candy.

@Catbert Just freaking gorgeous!
A True View of a recently graded 1941 toned Proof Walker.
This has a heck of a group of Walkers!
Wow, tough acts to follow, but here are a few.

@SanctionII that proof is WILD! I can only assume this thread fizzled out after your post because no one could compete with that one.
Here are a couple of mine. I’m working on a set of the proofs, all CAC:

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Lots of great coins here!

Easily the most beautiful coin designed by the US mint simply because great examples can be owned by anyone (unlike the Saints).

We’re you’re starting with one of the toughies- nice choice!
A date not often posted on the forum:
A more common date in the early part of the series.
Couldn’t really capture the greenish gold patina properly:
Cherrypick I sold recently - was formerly in a Whitman folder of "circulated" Walkers and graded MS64!
I got this one from David Lawrence to replace another coin I had with a couple marks too many for my taste. It's in a MS65 rattler.
Beautiful coins everyone!

My favorite series by far.
I think we've seen every year so far - except 1923. Here's my best one.
