    I know it’s probably not worth it but could that be carefully removed and properly conserved/restored/saved? Or is it definitely no good?

    @ashland.... I am curious... How did it get saltwater damage??.... Certainly could be cleaned up a bit, but the underlying damage may not be worth the effort. Cheers, RickO

    A guy came into the B&M that I work at and had several like this. They were in a flood in Florida somewhere. He didn’t sell them ! :D

    I’d say they’re way too far gone. Melting is the only salvage in my opinion.
