This 1818/5 Bust 25c resides in an NGC MS62 holder. It was submitted raw after I purchased it out of a bank vault where it had been sitting for decades. It's probably the oldest U.S. coin I own that has genuinely pretty toning.

This 1844-O half, graded PCGS AU58+ CAC, is a slightly better date with really nice toning.

1803 is a better date half dollar, and this is the scarcest 1803 variety that is the highest graded by PCGS:

A couple new ones for my half dollar type set, the 1879 has a proof mintage of 1100 and business strike of 4800:
