Take a look at this so-called three legged 1937d buffalo nickel. Good or Bad?
The 37d three legger is probably the most famous of the many buffalo nickel mint errors and varieties.
People were looking for this in the early 1940ies even before they went after the 1918/7-d overdate.
Made somewhere overseas no doubt. Starting bid is around $1350 with a buy it now of $2350 or so.

Looks like a struck counterfeit from China rather than the usual removed leg from a genuine 1937-D nickel.

Looks off to me, both sides seem bloated, coarse and I'd bet it's a cast fake. IMO. Hope it can be taken down. Peace Roy

Looks like one of the alibaba fakes.
Had a guy bring a couple of these he bought at the florence flea market, thought he scored a big one, when i told him they were bogus, he took off back to sc. Dont know what ever happened after that, hadnt seen him since
