Even with massive magnification is see nothing but an ultra-common 1963 Unc. cent.

He may be implying there's some doubling going on with a coin not known for this error?

Great images, but I am not seeing anything unusual

Could be a hint of the middle of a '3' showing but it's not the recognized error.

So the recognized DD looks different and is a D mintmark? :#

    FYI

Wexler has special section for 1963-D doubled dies and lists 56 different DDOs

Heck no. SMS were 1965-1967, with maybe a dozen 1964s traceable to the personal collection of the then mint director.

The internet is where sarcasm went to die. Words on a page have rarely conveyed tone adequately.

Now I see it. I just had to look on your “ currecy exchange “. It’s right next to the coin with all the 2’s.
I’m glad you posted multiple times for the slow learners like me. Thanks again 🤨

If you feel strongly about your cent being a 3/3, send it in for authentication. Cheers, RickO

Clearly the shadow 3 and the D were polished off by the Mint.

Ohhh. It's a triple error (variety). The rare doubled die that had the doubling and the mintmark polished off.

    He should have mentioned that.
