More than likely the coin has been messed with and is damaged.
A photo would confirm this.
How do I upload a photo from my phone?
Sometimes you need to wait a day or two before your photo posting privilege is activated.
From the description, I am guessing you found a quarter someone sanded down one side. I have seen them before. A good photo of both sides would be needed to confirm.
It’s actually a Denali Alaskan Quarter. I can see the copper color on the rim of it where the indentions are around the coin…it doesn’t have a ring at all on the Denali part of it and the other side has nothing…if this helps give more detail…until I can upload a photo…
It also has two numbers or letters on the rock to the left of of the #2 second rock over? Is that normal?
pretty much need a photo. Vastly most likely reason for "nothing" side is somebody ground it away.
