Nice coin.
If it were any other Franklin than the '53-S and you sent it to PCGS, then the answer would probably be yes. Given that it is a '53-S, and IMO PCGS grades to the price range differential, then no, because of the value of the designation.

The second image affirms that its worth a try, especially when viewing the third coin in CoinFacts and the obvious value therein.
That image _CoinFacts_is also distorted in the upper left lines.

That coin is a very close call on FBL.... The second picture makes me think maybe - just maybe, it may get FBL....Be sure to let us know... Cheers, RickO

I stand by my original call. Nice coin but I don’t think it will be FBL. Have a pile of new grading books and am happy I bought them. I am still new so listen to those with more experience, however, being in “grading class” will venture an opinion. Thanks 🤠

It's stuff like this that makes third party grading look silly. The feature you're evaluating is on the reverse of the coin, but you have to flip it over and look at the date to decide how to interpret what you just looked at?
