What Is This?

Hey, I wanted to know what type of coin this, how old it is, or if it's even a coin at all. It looks to me to be like a colonial coin or medallion. I searched and couldn't find anything, but I hope maybe one of you knows what it is. It also has numbers written on the front. Thank you. https://ibb.co/Jnjz5LX

@JBK Click on the link in the opening post and expand it. Looks like some foreign coin or token. You may also want to try the foreign coin forum here.

There's a neat and well executed hole so it may be some kind of medal that was suspended from a ribbon. The pic is quite clear but I can't make out the design on it. A pic of the other side would help.

I would call that a tool check token. In olden times, companies provided the tools that workers used. That token tells who has it. Peace Roy

@TBaar25.... Welcome aboard...Looks like some sort of token, perhaps as mentioned by @Namvet69. The first picture looks corroded, while the second appears clean. Cheers, RickO

Could that have been attached to the key for room 348 in a hotel?
