If it's as muted as I interpret the images to be, then I expect no CAC sticker.

No CAC. Not an A or B coin.
I know the CAC guy likes toned coins so gonna throw a Hail Mary and guess green bean on this bad boy
CAC treats AU50 and AU53 the same. I guessed AU53. To be consistent, I'll guess green bean.
If it failed to sticker it's because there is a problem and the coin was netgraded by NGC IMHO.

If you saw the 1818 AU 55 quarter I recently had graded, you'd call that coin a platinum CAC.

No sticker but who cares? A lovely coin regardless and would be a fun coin to own and cherrish.
Doesn't appear to have luster commensurate with the grade, but I can only judge from photos.
It might be an image issue that makes it look muted and too dark................
Increasing the exposure until the white slab around the coin comes out to white shows a pretty nice coin, so I suspect despite my vote that it beaned.
I would say no CAC on that one.... of course, photo vs. in-hand... ICBW.... Cheers, RickO

Yes. The same is true of one of the VF grades I believe. I don’t remember which.
I imagine that I'd like this coin in hand quite a lot .. going from images though it seems possible there is some kind of ED

What does it say on the CAC website when you type in the cert #?

I don't know Capped Bust's but I do know DD. I'm guessing gold....
PS - why is the Gold CAC symbol gold colored but the Green CAC blue?

I love this coin, just think it is a bit too muted/dark for CAC is all.
And here they are;
No CAC. Will follow up if it has a red sticker, otherwise that's a wrap. I actually agree with the general consensus here again. AU55-A58 details, but subdued luster due to thick toning mean it'll never CAC, even graded at only 50.

I love your coin and if it were mine I wouldn't care if CAC liked it or not.
I have seen many in MS holders that were far inferior.
From my limited experience, they don't like deeply retoned coins.
