TDN.... its the famous neck die Die Clash. Typically seen on 77-CC coins but seen on others (like the 78-S). There are a few other LDS clash marks. What you are seeing is the "In God We Trust" banner remnants (the horizontal lines) clashed on the right side of the eagles neck. Sometimes, additional aspects are seen on the left. The other clash tell is often seen between the left feather and the left thigh of the eagle. This feature is a remnant or Miss Liberty's outstretched arm from the obverse. These are pretty cool to see. The latter left wing-left thigh are seen ion many dates like 73-CC, 74-CC, and others. The top die clashes are typically seen 77-CC and 78-S. There might be others.

That's a 78-S DDR. Definitely not machine doubling. Note the doubled "420" in addition to the arrows. Although the arrows look incomplete, that is due to the fact that 78-S DDR reverse die was created using a "broken arrow" master die (also seen on a 77-S broken arrow die variety).

I bought that coin. Finishing up a book of Trade die varieties and will be imaging it extensively. It does have interesting clashing on an interesting die pair. Not quite as dramatic of a transfer as another from 1877-CC though.

I'm certainly no expert, but that looks more like it's from the bale that Miss Liberty is seated on. if it was the IGWT banner it would be atop the eagle's head. if someone did an overlay it would easily show that.
