11 inch Dahlgren shell weighing about 135 lbs. empty with part of its brass delayed fuse housing still intact.
It had a mean range of 3,650 yards with the cannon set to 15 degrees.

An IHC my grandfather once obtained. More than likely these are his fingerprints. He passed in 1979.

I'm just not sure which one, as my paternal grandfather died before I was born, and my paternal grandmother never talked to me about coin collecting, but I did find in the box of coins I inherited some coins that were past the year my grandfather died,
