    8,808 were made. I wish I had more business strikes with under 10,000 minted but, alas, I do not. Like the previous, this is a high survivability issue.

    The early years after they restarted the New Orleans mint after the Civil war. Just misses the cut off with a mintage of a 10,820 but there are few survivors which isn’t always the case with low mintages. It was a real rarity until a few dozen were found in Europe in the 90s. This one is a bit chatty but not bad due to the fact it has deeply PL luster

    Unknown mintage, but based on research and those seen over the years no where near 10,000. Probably a handful remaining?

    Since I've been collecting for nearly fifty years, the last few have been spent targeting low mintage coinage. Mostly world coinage, which did not seem appropriate to post. One example is a near complete Australian Wedge-tailed silver Eagle in MS/PF 70 of the three finishes (uncirculated, proof and high relief). None over the eight year run have a mintage greater than 10,000. Most less than 5,000.
