Morgans and Peace dollars now processing

I went to check shipping status for the 2 coin ASE designer set and saw that the Morgans and Peace dollars went from backorder to processing.
Shipping soon???

Not overnight ship. All of them show processing online, all the Morgans, but when I called the Mint they are still on back order.
Peace Dollar shows back order online.
Once again, when they arrive, they arrive.

These could move from processing to backorder to processing 2 or 3 more times before they ship from what I have been seeing .

I got my reverse proof eagle set and just tossed it in the safe, still in box. I don't care to see them.
When I get my 3 - 2021 Peace Dollars, I won't be able to open them quick enough!

Yes, and as one can see from my cost, I selected the standard (free) shipping method. I think the Mint is trying to make up for all my other orders in which I was the very last person to receive the hot releases.

I had this same issue. Turns out I had created a different mint account at some time in the past. I think it was when the Gold Buffaloes first came out. Several years later when I want d to start buying from the mint I created a new account. That was the one all my orders were placed on. When I finally re-logged into that original account on a old computer it showed all of my orders. Call the mint and see if they have another account in your name.

Bingo! I called and since orders are processing, not mine, but others, I asked if they could update my card and they said yes. They switched me to a secure line, I entered my CC number, they switched back for the expiration date and code, then said it was updated. I'll see if it steps to processing. Currently in the backorder state.

Random thought just crossed my mind. You had clled the mint and reached out to them about some issue recently right?
Could that have played a part in processing because the most recently accessed info perhaps went first into the processing queue.
Total wild guess but thought I would clarify with you

Just spoke with Sabrina at the Mint. Even though my Order History shows my orders as "Processing", she assured me they are still on backorder and no changes are allowed.

It's a wonderful business operation.

Just got off mint call. Went through fast. They checked my cc info and told me I’m good to go. They will email if problems. Spent a good amount of time with them. We will see.

No information was listed on my Morgan order. We can add and subtract cc in our information but that is different from changing or updating cc information on an order.

Mine had missing payment data, as soon as I saw it go processing, I called. She said it was "credit hold" website showed processing, I received no email. I was able to cure it with her, now it says " Order Status: Being Processed ". The shipping method changed to " Method: Budget Shipping " and the newly listed CC was charged. if yours is stuck processing, I would call and ask about it.

Paid with a mint gift card.
Order went straight thru and I received confirmation.
Order is still saying Backordered.
I purchased the coin within 2 minutes of the window opening and allowing the coins for purchase.
Will check tomorrow and see. In no change will contact the mint.

I also posted this on the other Morgan / Peace thread.

I just spent an hour and 38 minutes waiting to talk to a Mint CSR about my Peace dollar shipment that is backordered. The long and short of it is that no Peace dollars have been shipped as of yet as the Mint is waiting on the product to be received so that they can be packaged.
Hope this helps the rest of you that are as antsy as I am.
