Hi guys,
First of all, Happy Labor Day! Yes, I already started the holiday weekend with the rituals of bank surfing. Yippie, found one 1967 silver Kennedy and picked up a few of assorted denomination bank rolls to "labor" in hunting for any gems. Lol. Also, for the week of the holiday, I have plans to go to Indiana to go to a concert with my lovely wife. While on vacation, headed to Shipashewana, Indiana. To see the Christian artist, David Phelps! Seen him twice already. The BEST tenor in Christian music. Maybe, in all genres?
Anyway, while in Indiana. I'm going to set out to find some bank cent boxes and some half dollar rolls. It suppose to be in Amish country. So maybe I'll get lucky? Old school town. Lol. Here's my rolls to search over the holiday weekend. Check it out. A roll of dollars! It's been awhile for hunting these. What about you guys? Any coin related holiday plans? Thanks :)

Happy Hunting and Good Luck!

My coin plans include surfing around here a bit and checking dealer sites for coins that refuse to show up.

I'm going detecting. The rain deluge has cut a swath thru an old farm, destroyed a lawn and pushed topsoil into a huge pile for me to search. Peace Roy

Never saw that before - during the summer I go fishing to stock the freezer - then in the winter I screw around coin roll searching.

Was a hundred miles from home today, stopped at a IHOP to eat and noticed a Chase Bank across the way. Went there first and asked if they had any half dollar rolls. NO, but how much was I looking for? I answered up to $500.00. The other teller piped up that they had an unopened box in the vault. They brought it out and I had the cash ready then they asked if I had an account with them, I said no. The teller said the limit was $100.00 but said he would give me the box this time but next time it would be $100.00. I have to finish the other two boxes I have before ripping into the new box. Kinda excited to see what God has wrought. Cheers.

Wow, pretty cool results despite not having an account. Besides the silver (40% / 90%) Don't forget the few decent variety chances. 1974d DDO, 1972d no FG, 1982 no FG. NIFC's are cool but for me, not worth keeping. Only the high, high conditioned ones? Maybe?
Good Luck! :) Hope your labor brings fruit! Lol

Got my most recent GC wins in on Friday and haven’t spent any time with them. Hoping to do that Monday when I’m working from home and the wife and kids are at school (yes, on Labor Day).
Got a new WFH computer, also and haven’t fired it up yet, so might check out the forum on a slightly larger screen, too.

Follow up on the Chase box. Cracked it open just to check out the enders. 5 rolls had 2021 D enders with one double 2021 D enders. One 2015, one 2018. Rest run of the mill enders. Looked up the mintage for 2021, 7.7 million Denver, 5.1 million for P.
Thought it might be an old box but no. The good part is that the NIFCs are not roll marked. The hunt continues. Cheers.

Nice catch. Personally, I only keep the NIFC's that have the lowest mintages, about 1,700,000 or less. However, you decide what YOU want, not anyone else. Any NIFC Kennedys are cool!

I might throw 1 or 2 coins on the BBQ with the steaks. Never seen a BBQ'd coin before.
