Today's frosty cherrypicks.

Stopped by a local shop to snoop. The shop had acquired a collection that included a number of unopened flat pack proof sets from the 1960s.

Surprisingly the guy at the counter gave me permission to open the sealed sets and look at them.

Quite fun.

Many of the sets had frosted quarters and half dollars that were parts of a "run" of coins.

I picked up 9 sets that contain 3 possible DCAM 1963 quarters, 2 Cameo 1960 quarters, 1 Cameo 1964 half, 3 light frosted and very attractive 1964 half dollars, 3 lightly frosted and very attractive 1963 half dollars, 2 1960 small date cents and some possible Cameo 1963 and 1964 cents.

Some photos are attached.

Let you open them! Those are some nice picks. I've never been so lucky.

Nice haul! I haven't been allowed to open sealed sets - ever! Unless, of course, that I bought them beforehand at ask....
I especially like the 63 quarter at the right in the first photo.

Good for you, dude. This is better than finding Franklins and 1964 Kennedys in a half dollar bank box! Good luck if you submit them.

Nice pickups and thanks for sharing.
A big adrenaline rush is flowing thru me as I imagine myself in your shoes as you opened "unopened" sets.
Do you frequent the local shop or a first time visit?
