Hi guys, at the recent ANA coin show in Chicago. I brought with me some of my highly sought after W PCGS graded Quarters. Along with a 2 coin 2020 Silver Eagle NGC dual set of the Business strike and proof . Both in a 70 grade. Also my Newly PCGS graded 1955 Bugs Bunny ms 65 FBL w/ Super Toning. Hoping to sell all. Well, after the 2 day excursion. I only sold my 3 W Quarters. PCGS graded. MS 65, MS 66 and MS 67. All three together. They sold for $900. Then, also sold my 2020 Silver Eagle dual NGC coin set MS 70/ PF.70. That sold for $150. So, my total of $1050. I bought in a different direction. Old school. Lol.
Not mine exactly but Similar looking.

Then, these are my 3 W's that sold.

MS 65

MS 66

MS 67

All modern coins! Out with the new!
In with the old!
Here are my buys from the show! All older classics!

Lastly, just bought this Morgan from a Youtuber's website. What an AWESOME coin!

What do you guys think? Thanks
Classic coins and some with the CAC Stickers too!
To mention, I did spend a total of $650 on the old classics.

Congrats. The IHC sets I built over 40 years along with the Buffalo Nickel Sets were the most gratifying until I started the Walking Liberty Half Set and it has consumed me. Love the late 19th and early 20th century coins. I would love to see your sets progress, Joey. Again, great choices.

Yes, I did, thanks. A slight doubling on the 1, but no real significance. ;)

There are quite a few RPD's for the L , I don't think any add a premium but there are some real nice ones.
I can't tell for sure from the photo but you can see if it matches this one.

Getting $900 for the three "W" quarters is great! It more than paid for all the classics. :)

What kind of reaction did you get from the dealers when offering the "Bugs Bunny" half that did not sell?

Nice work! The 1864 looks to have a slightly rotated reverse but I think it's pretty common for that year if I remember correctly.

That's a nice sum, Joey. And some nice coins purchased, too.

Thanks for asking. Well, pretty mixed. When I put my price out there, $500, some handed me the coin back to me as quick as they can. Lol some hesitated. I think, because they were an eye lash away from finalizing the deal. Then some declined while saying, " that is the perfect price " for this Franklin. Then added, someone will bite! Then one woman took a hard look at it and offered me $70! I laughed. Oh well, I guess I get to keep it for my collection. For the time being anyway? Might auction it out? I do feel, this particular Bugs Bunny variety, has that special color that not too many have. Also, his teeth are phenomenal. You don't need a loupe to see that it's a Bug's! Lol
    Thanks

Those coins a lot more interesting than the pieces you sold.

Welcome to the “Classics”. You have an excellent eye, and I believe you did well by getting some that merited a CAC. Some of yours without CAC’s might also merit them, but many times owners won’t submit them to CAC if the pricing differential is small (and that’s perfectly ok).

Consider continuing to add different “Types”. It’ll be fun, and also create a lot more learning opportunities.

    Happy Hunting!

I agree with all the others, what you have now is a whole lot more interesting than W quarters.
