I went to the ANA show today, and it was a wow show. The Tyrant (Thanks, Mark, for the correction.) set is beyond awesome. To see so many high quality coins in one amazing type set is just beyond words. It just kept getting better and better as I took my time browsing the set. Included in set is the King of Siam set.

I, also, did a walk around and there seemed to interest in the precious metals. A few dealers mentioned gold sales was doing good for them. I chatted with a few of my local dealers for a bit, too. I sat at a few tables and looked for some dimes, and the ones I wanted to purchase were so high out of reach for what they were I wound up not purchasing a single coin at the show.

PCGS handed these out at the luncheon, and the retro type labeling is something I really enjoy about their giveaway this year. (If someone had posted them I will apologize in advance.)

Thanks for the report and the pictures of the giveaway... Nice item indeed. I know there are a couple of members that collect them... I am not surprised that gold was moving well... an upswing is developing... Cheers, RickO

Were 2021 awards for Registry sets announced there? Or were these 35th Anniversary PCGS slabbed coppers handed out as preview of coming attractions? I also notice it had a mintage of 4,200.

    A very nice looking medal.
I hope they randomly send some of these out to Set Registry winners.
    Just a thought.

The Major Set Registry winners were announced at the luncheon, and PCGS asked them to stand, so we could applaud. Some were there some not in attendance.

@goldminers they said AMPEX would be selling a bronze and silver version (I think I understood it that way).

I do see in Coin Facts there are 350 PCGS 2021 PR DCAM's, and 3,500 MS silvers of the PCGS 35th Anniversary medals showing as mintages now. Where and how they will be distributed is unknown, but they should be quite popular. That eagle looks hungry.

It’s the “Tyrant”, not “Tyranny” collection.

    Gorgeous medal! I love it!

It's kind of strange they wouldn't grade their own medal, but I guess they may not have had time to make sure they were all 70s.

I love the dot matrix printer label. I wonder if they used a real dot matrix printer or a dot matrix font.
