Lots of this stuff shows up in the Antiques>Silver>Coin Silver (ie flat/holloware) category. Don't see many noted here.

    Actually fake/replica/copies like the one in your op photo, as well as over optimistic ebay sellers get discussed here often.

    Sorry, I meant from that particular ebay category, rather than the true coin listings, which are often noted, as you say

    Given that people post 0.00001% of eBay listings in any category, why is that surprising? And if you consider that the vast majority of coins in that category are likely fakes, you have your answer.

    While the coin pictured isn’t real, I wholeheartedly agree with the principle that you can find many items on eBay that are mis-categorized, mislabeled, misspelled, etc. You should be creative in where and how you look for things…
