To find rolls of Ikes is one thing, but to find them with mixed in Morgan and Peace Dollars? Nice!

Not so quick, some do look suspiciously Chinese in origin.

Love these coin stories! I can smell that silver from here.

So you're sure you cleaned them out? If not, I'd be back at Chase tomorrow morning at 0855.

Roll hunting Ikes may not have been very popular, but now it is, By the way Ikes are getting more popular in higher grades, and the varieties are amazing for coin hunting! After all the Kennedy rolls are searched, where do you go?

There is validity in the question. Bought a collection recently. A couple Morgan dollars out of the 35 purchased, were fake. Ring test, scrape test and Sigma tested. Hoping OP scored, but more so wondering if counterfeiters are depositing fakes with Ike and gaming the bankers. Just a passing thought

But wow. What a score, if real.

If I were to ask the teller for Ike dollars at my bank, the odds lean heavily towards the teller saying to me, "Ike dollar? What are those?"

... and then pull out an SBA and say "Oh you mean these?"

Very nice! I would go back and clean them out on all denominations. Chances are good the same person also brought rolls of halves and quarters.

They passed the magnet test! No sticking.

This was a once in a lifetime find. I've been searching halves for almost 40 years and found plenty of silver as far back as Seated halves. Finding these coins was an accident... almost. My son was with me and asked the teller for $2 bills. She quickly said she didn't have them but did have three rolls of dollars. I expected them to be the small dollars, but once she showed me the rolls, of course I snapped them up.

No... I didn't think for even a minute there'd be anything other than IKEs in there and yes, I bought all she had.

I too have received Morgan & Peace dollars at my bank when I ask for "silver dollars," expecting Ikes. It was my best haul ever. I'll have to post a picture of them when/if I find it.

Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
