Ok, here is my other W quarter I need feedback on. The V75 privy mark....if error is it worth getting graded by our host?

    Pretty Awesome, dude! Is both issues on the same coin? I see one "Strike through" and one Misaligned die issue. The Privy mark certainly looks to be a Strike through! I would send in if you don't mind the $65 fee. Always cool to have around for future value opportunities or just a educational piece. I have a couple 2019 and 2020 Quarters graded with similar results. Good luck. ;)

    I would guess it’s a small minor strike thru. Possibly through grease.

    Joey, thank you. Same coin. I agree with you about sending it in to be graded if most agree it is a strike thru and not PMD.

    Like you I don't mind spending the cash to preserve and document both this one and my American Memorial W quarter Mint errors.😉

    No I did not attend the Chicago show but I do plan on attending the Whitman Baltimore show in November. Will you be there?

    with the struck thru but it's minor. I think you want something more like @ErrorsOnCoins bats quarter. I would be more interested in submitting it for a high grade, preferably 68.

    Still a nice find though.

    Thank you. However, I collect W quarters so I prefer this one. Since no one has stated PMD looks like I am going to submit it to our host.

    What's it struck through and why wouldn't the resulting image be backwards, unless the fragment lettering was backwards?

    IDK, looks more like a PMD private stamp.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    I am leaning more towards PMD.... though I cannot qualify my opinion beyond the appearance seems to show 'movement' rather than 'impression'. Cheers, RickO

    If you have an Android like mine. You can snap an original photo with your phone, than "crop" that same photo to blow it up enough to view more closer? Good luck. ;)

    Ok. The results are in........

    Our host has confirmed it is a MS66 Minor Obverse Strike-Through Error coin! I am waiting for the image to post on their website and will provide the pic ASAP!

    Wow! Not only it's awesome you did receive the designation but even better you got a High Grade. MS 66 for the Tallgrass Prairie, shows $210 by PCGS price guide.
