Problem coin, but any premium because it's a lowball grade?

Didn't know if any lowball premium for this thing? Or just scrap? You can see the faint outline of 1964. Thanks for any input!

Just scrap. For a low ball coin to have any premium it needs to be otherwise problem free.

Kennedys are my quest...
Wow.... That is beyond lowball....if really a '64, then make a ring out of it....or sell it for bullion. No value as a coin. Cheers, RickO
Lowball coins need to be problem-free except for wear. This one ain't it.
Damaged junk.
Well if it's really a 64, there might be about 9$ worth of silver still there.

Looks like it was damaged by acid.

What was your offer? 45 cents with free shipping?
amwldcoin, I would buy all of your silver halves for 50 cents plus free shipping. Please message me your address and how much you have and I'll send payment promptly. I didn't realize it has zero value even though it's silver. LOLLOLLMAOLOL

Now there's a melting pot candidate if I ever saw one.

I didn't know that there was a premium for really bad grade coins. I could be rich and not know it.

Scrap.
The proper term is "low grade" rather than "bad grade" which is reserved for coins which are misgraded. The only low graded coins that carry a premium are totally problem free other than honest wear from normal circulation and with original surfaces. These coins aren't as easy to find as you might expect. While I don't collect them, I think they are interesting to look at.

@PerryHall thanks for clarifying. I think I have some low grade half dimes or dimes from the 1870ish area. I think I have to do more research on low grade coins.
