I have wanted this coin for a VERY LONG time....

About 10 years ago; I foolishly sold a WONDERFUL Morgan 1888-S OGH MS 63 that was VERY sentimental to me, in order to help fund another purchase. I was paid a fair price for it, but I always regretted selling that piece. I should have kept the coin and financed part of the then newp. Been meaning to replace it for YEARS. I swore that I'd get one again, as nice or better, so I finally pulled the trigger on this OBH MS 64. Morgans are HOT, right now, but I think that I did OK. Glad to finally check it off of the list. Thanks for looking. Any comments are appreciated.

Very pretty looking Morgan. I know what you mean when you sell something and want it back for years

I like your tastes, are 1888-s' special ?

Very nice! The fields have very little in the way of marks (none distracting) and I like the hints of toning. Enjoy.

Looks like it's a no problem for the grade coin.

Congratulations. I'm glad you fulfilled a replacement wish. I still have 3 Indian Head Cents I would gladly have a chance at recovering, and never lose them again, but no chance ever, I'm sure.

You may be right, but it seems like a 65 to me.

    Congrats to the OP!

Nice, I've always liked the date !

Dates are special to the collector. 1888 could be a very special date to the OP even if not for thee. 1907, 1909 two of my favorites, no matter the series. Recently acquired an unc 1907 dime because of what the date represents to me.
