Hello,
My spouse and I looked through our change this last weekend and have 0 knowledge on the hobby. Photos are of what we found and wanted to know if any are worth anything. Quality is bad on a lot of them but it was all in fun. Thanks in advance ! 😁😄😆

Yes, these unfortunately appear safe to spend except for the Wheat Cents. Enjoy collecting if you are getting started.

@LoTragic... Welcome aboard.... Coins are interesting and fun to search for special ones. Unfortunately, the special ones are scarce. That being said, sometimes treasures are found in change. Your wheat cents are worth keeping... not great condition, but not made anymore. I keep the ones I find. The rest of your change is spending money. Have fun, Cheers, RickO

Welcome aboard! Like all the posters posted. That 1924 would have been your first winner if there was a "D" mint mark below the date. Your 1924, in that condition is worth about $1. The 1924d is highly sought after. Keep on searching and have fun. Any questions here on the forum are welcomed. Get yourself a "Red Book". Very inexpensive, about $15-$20. That's a coin reference book to explain and show the many types of coins you may find. Good Luck.

One more thing...Wheat cents were produced from 1909-1958. The 1909s VDB is King!
