Nice finds! That 1/4 Balboa has silver written right on it which is really neat! 6.25 grams of 900 silver.

COOL~ Wait, what's in third place?? Perhaps that $100 coin?
Very nice finds... silver is always welcome....Now you need a World Coin book to start identifying these finds. Cheers, RickO
Nice ones!
Silver is always a winner at old face value.
You hear a lot of cases of people not knowing what they have when they go to the bank which is where those coins ended up apparently.
A shop told me that a woman recently came into their shop with a bank deposit box she couldn't open, thought the husband had just had silver coins though it was chock full of 1/10 oz gold coins.
Also heard of a shop in Vermont where a banker came in with a lot of rare US large size currency that someone had dropped at the bank, which ended up being worth a small fortune. Banks are not knowledgeable in numismatics.
Great finds at a time when reject slot finds seem to have really dropped off. My own reject slot drought ended yesterday in a big way.
I went to my local Cloud 9 to buy some jelly and almost didn't bother looking in the reject slot. But then ... I caught a glimpse of light coming out of the slot and decided to take a look. My biggest reject slot find of all time was the result!
My pockets were soon literally bulging with a total of 198 coins! Even more amazing, all were US except for one lone Canadian cent.
The totals: 11 US cents
52 US nickels
3 US dimes
129 US quarters
2 "golden" dollars
1 Canadian cent
Total US face value $37.26. (Sadly, no silver.)
My total reject slot finds for the previous two+ months had been one US dime.
Nice catch. Just think. One or two minutes later. Somebody else might of beat ya to it! Lol. 129 Quarters? Wow.

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. The Mexico $100 is devalued, so it's no longer legal tender. If it was good you've have about $5 US dollars there. But nice luck with the Balboa and the silver dime.
I found something very bizarre. An obverse of a 1961 Dime was put together with what looked like a like sized portion of a slick mercury(?) type of battery. Does anyone have a clue what this is, and secondly, why would anyone do this with a dime?

putting those mexico $2 neuvo pesos into a group should garner some interest. the 1995 peso with the sun on it is promising. also you can check those non-bi-metallic mex coins for ddo/ddr. the main group of mex $1, if there are no ddr/ddo,errors etc, i'd just put em in your pocket and put em in random places somewhere out in the world and imagine what the people that come across them will think.
To joeykoins:
That Balboa made me think you may enjoy this coin I saw recently on a website. I "think" it's the same coin but a 1982 struck over a 1972 Kennedy. Pretty cool.
Neat finds for you sir. Congrats!!!
Found today in the bank change machine bin.
