I dunno. It might be hard to even spend them. They sure as heck don't look like money. The post office might not even take them.
One idea comes to mind........ If you could somehow locate those people who ended up with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver commemoratives, they might trade for them.

Why did you open the bag??? The premium you paid was for the bag. I would wager better coins could be had from the bank looking at your pictures!
Thought it would be fun to have a pile of them I guess. Never had a mint bag of anything. But yeah the coins are not nice. Lots of marks, surfaces blah, nothing special in here. If you want something worth grading then get a roll instead of a bag I guess.
I feel no guilt whatsoever throwing them back in the bag and sloshing them around.
They work in vending machines too usually if you want to release some into circulation.
One thing though, all of these golden colored dollars discolor so easy it might be that if you stored some in a mason jar with desiccant in with them that you can seal it up and throw it in a box and put it in the back of a closet or storage room and forget about them. When you find them in 10 years or so they might be worth a premium because so few will be available that aren’t tarnished. Also since no one likes the design much, there may be even less people buying them so the surviving population might be low. Since you already bought them what do you have to lose?
You could probably find yourself a lawyer and enact a plan to find retailers that won't accept them as legal tender and see if you can turn $100 into much more? I'm joking! Seriously, I'm joking.

The bag is neat. I do like the coin design. Obviously its not comparable to a Saint or other classics, but its fun and unique and represents my home state. And I grew up a gamer so it resonates w/me I guess.
Tips is a good idea. These are just so unfamiliar to people that I can imagine someone thinking I left them chuck e. cheese tokens or something and throwing them away. lol.
I got a stack of new $2 bills once which I mostly disposed of as tips. Most people recognize those at least.
Reminds me of the time I purchased a $1000 bag of Sacagawea dollars when they were first issued. Sold a bunch on eBay to cover the US Mint cost (that exceeded the $1000 threshold) and then some. Then took several hundred dollars on our vacation to Hawaii. My carryon bag was heavy. Each time we used them the kanakas and kamaʻāinas were excited to see the new "gold" Sacagawea dollar for the first time.

Self checkouts at Walmart and the grocery stores take them.
I am going to the coin show in Manchester NH on friday. Maybe I can spend/trade a few there.
Dont have any other innovation dollar coins, was surprised how small they are. Thought they would be a little more significant.
Need an arcade game that takes these. Would be perfect for that.

Thanks for the chance in your giveaway.
I've been on the US mint subscription list since the beginning & have been using them to tip.
I even have a few locals that expectantly await the next one.
One waitress gets genuinely excited over receiving them.

Save the bags.... Roll the coins and turn them in at the bank. Cheers, RickO
I am not impressed with this design,,,,,,, might be the ugliest US Coin design of all time.

You could drill a hole in each of them and sell them on eBay as metals.
Interesting - art project? Wind chime?
