Another argument for the value of certified coins

I can't remember seeing a $20 gold piece like this, anyone have an idea?

Clearly a mint error. Super valuable off metal one. I’m surprised it isn’t already in a holder because they’re leaving a ton of money on the table with this one….
Easily a ms68 in my opinion !
All of that seller’s currently and previously offered gold coins display the wrong color. But I suspect it might be the imaging.

Personally I wouldn't buy anything from seller that didn’t take the time to accurately photograph a relatively expensive coin.
Looks PR 65 Deep mirror Cameo to me
The nickel used to show size is also an extremely strange color.
I was all set to buy, until I saw that he didn't include the nickel. That's a dealbreaker for me.
But seriously, I agree with the above comments. The color is due to bad photography. And shooting against that green paper was a mistake, too.
Poor photography of an expensive rare coin is a cause for concern. Those photos are a clear warning to stay away from this seller. Anyone who is thinking of buying circulated war nickels from him for $7.00 each, please contact me first. I can sell you all you want for less then $2.00 each. I am the world's worst photographer for the last 50 years and even I take better pictures then those. Anyone can take better pictures than those. Seems like a clear attempt to deceive to me.
May be the lighting, may be deception.... Based on the pictures, I would just keep moving.... Not even worth considering. Cheers, RickO
Both of those have been polished - I suspect the dark photos are being used to conceal that fact.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
They both appear to have been polished/altered surfaces for San Francisco mint gold.
I like how they make sure you know you aren’t getting that nickel.
It appears to me to be one of those rare gold coins found at the end of the rainbow.
The color is from the moisture exposure being around it all the time. lol
