And out of all due respect man..
Only guidance I have witnessed was ppl saying its not it..
When I'm clearly expressing that I need help to show the right images..
Look some people don't have the green thumb for gardening.. For the life of them they cant stop killing everything they touch..
Well taking a nice clear precise photo is my green thumb.. with help I can't correct my bad photo taking habits I'm not here to agree about what I found. I know what it. is..
I just need the help to stop killing everything I touch

The arrows that are pointing to a dot on the O is not a die marker and means nothing without doubling of the letters.
The doubling of the letters are highlighted in red and your coin shows no doubling.

  • ifthevamzarockinifthevamzarockin Posts: 8,908 ✭✭✭✭✭

"and yall will think im just a nut job...... and that I seriously need help."

If you don't stop fixating on a dot as a die marker and refuse to look for doubling of the letters, you may be correct. ;)

    "Oh my..
So you compare lines on a photo they are taken from different angles..
Look im not here to prove you wrong..
I would like to prove I'm not lying, but the thing is no matter how much proof I show you and no matter how many big red fire trucks and can send your way you won't accept it.. simply bc partially I'm a Newby that found a good coina and also my rather kiderengarden photo taking skills leaves much to nic pick..
    Pls let's just stop now..
    Ok?"

Okay, you are right and everyone else is wrong. Now have you heard what you wanted to hear?

  • User1User1 Posts: 160

    I understand..
I need help I that area..
Like what scope is best, what kinda lighting..
Do I use a buffer or go natural.. when taking the pics do I go into the doubling or a different angle..
They are lots of ways I've I have noticed that effects the image..
And for the life of me I can not display what I saw..
Maybe bc my scope is cheap and does decent live feed but terrible photo captures.. idk..
And again it's not about proving anybody wrong..
I pick this coin find bc of its unique pair with another coin.. so I wouldn't have to show my terrible photo skills.
I was hoping someone would msg and help me..
But like always it didn't go as I hoped..
Probably I'm not good at things..

    For instance.
I found a sweet over date and over another date..
    1913/1923/1929
You can see 3 sets of stocks on reverse with lettering..
I see it on my live clearly but I can't for the life on me get it in a photo..

  • ifthevamzarockinifthevamzarockin Posts: 8,908 ✭✭✭✭✭

You need to put the booze & the bong down and get some rest.
If you haven't been doing any of that you need to go get the booze & the bong.
Whatever you are doing, you are doing it wrong. :p:D

The problem isn't your "kindergarten photo taking skills" it's the kindergarten attitude. ;)

  • User1User1 Posts: 160

    Honestly I don't have one..
I'm actually not even remotely upset..
I see where this bus is heading and I keep trying to turn the wheel..
If you read my post I'm putting the blame on me bc thats where is falls.. I also address the issue of what caused the issues.. my post are never to attack anyone ma...
And for the last 4 months I have been asking the same dang question with absolutely no replys what is so hard about will goving out a good brand of scope to buy?
    Or some scope techniques?
So I guess you could say I'm frustrated but at not at a person/groupbut at this hobby 100%..
Bc it seems like if you can't 100% prove with pics that 100% match then you are wrong.
But that in all honesty that is not true.. a person can mess up pictures to the point they don't even look right..
And yes it's about bong and bed time..

  • User1User1 Posts: 160

Quality of scope, angles and light play a huge role.. I just need help to understand the scope and what to get..
Trust me I find this embarrassing to even ask.. but i know i need to bc it's been 4 months and I still can't do it.. I'm missing something.. I seriously find sweet coins..
I live I a high money flow area with tons of rich folks..
I found 3 banks that their coin roll boxes had seal dates of 2010, 2012 and 2014..
Inside those boxes i found several coins..

  • ifthevamzarockinifthevamzarockin Posts: 8,908 ✭✭✭✭✭

Oh, I am very sorry, I misunderstood your question.

I don't know a brand of scope or any lighting that can make a coin look like a doubled die when it is not.
Sorry I could not be of more help. :/

So far this thread gets my vote for most entertaining of the year.

Simple fact is, send it to Wexler if you believe in it as I said. The cost of that attribution is less than the cost of a scope that shows you what you want to see.

    Dude! You have issues!

  • rickoricko Posts: 98,724 ✭✭✭✭✭

    @stack888 .... Welcome aboard.
@User1 .... Neither lighting, nor angle, nor pictures are your problem. The coin is not a doubled die. Cheers, RickO

The 3 of 1923 cuts Into the 9 of the end of 1929..
That's what caught my eye and sent me down the fox hole..

Hold on.. bare with me.. I have another pic
Now you are seeing my issue that I stated in my post..
About not being able to get the correct pic the the viewer..
    Bc im a Newby

This nonsense banter needs to stop!

Send the coin in for appraisal and get the straight answer from a die specialist, as none of us here seem to have enough credentials for proving your quest.

And how I found the other date was..
Placing carbon paper over the cent and then making a copy..

If you believe that the coins you’ve posted are errors, instead of continuing to ask for opinions, arguing and complaining, put your money where your mouth is and submit them for attribution and grading. Then post pictures after you get them back.

In the meantime, please stop playing games, futile exercises and wasting people’s time and effort.

I told you to stop with the markers - they keep getting you in trouble...........

  • Thanks for the welcoming fellows and any ladies . I’ve had time to think about this thread , as hard as I tired to forget , but I think the most important question to be asking is , are there any doctors in the house , in this community or do any know of someone interested in a brand new case study ?? I’m not well versed as of yet in my determination of of the multitudes of errors and varities yet I am here for advise to be better educated . This situation doesn’t seem be helping this person realize the company to which he protests , and there cumulative decades of knowledge and experience in the determination of this particular coin . So this may be over the heads and expertise of this group . I’ve never seen a back and forth so one sided ever yet the denial of the group not being convinced by the lack of photography skills may be better left to the white coats at clinic . My 2cents .......... oh and my 2cents is tripled on the date and quadrupled on the motto.😳🤔

researching is the key to knowing error coins, knowing what you have and don't have can make a big difference and you also will learn much by researching errors

  • After reading this thread all I can think of is my fear of being outdoors, and possibly stepping off the edge of the earth.

Which as everyone will acknowledge, is flat.

As to the coin in question, I agree that it’s a double die - very obvious in the “55” of the date.

  • silverpopsilverpop Posts: 6,736 ✭✭✭✭✭

i have high doubts a grading company would agree with such a bold statement backed by not much else then photos, but if one thinks that then send it in and see what they say

  • User1User1 Posts: 160

    Such children..
No respect to a new hobbyist that's requires some help..
And again every thing from frontal diagnostic, TO ALL markers down to doubling is there..
I can care less of your opinion bc you can't even follow a what the post is about.
And yes I will submit it. I simply needed help to better document this and a few other coins..
Smh you guys seriously should be ashamed of yourself..

Post never mentions or even questions if this is the coin.. bc you have a person asking for help to take better documenting pics so not to do this variety any injustice and knew this person takes crappy pics..
And then you guys demand pics from this person.. continue to gang up, bully and criticize them..
And in the end every last one of you is wrong about the coin.. which I was telling you the entire time it's the coin..
How dumb can it get folks..
Like do you not see the irony?
But you guys will deny to make yourself feel better.. I will send the coin off and it will be verified..
All is happy in the end..

I'm guessing it wasn't the quality of your photos that got you banned from 4 other sites.

Best of luck with your coins. Since an overwhelming number of members didn't see any doubling, the only way you'll be able to realize any value is to have them attributed by a TPG.

I live in a extremely high flow money area with lots of rich folks..
We have zero coin shops and I found 3 banks that had sealed penny boxes from 2013 to 2015/16..
I got every one of the boxes from all banks and now after 2 months of organizing.. I'm going thru this massive amount of pennys..
Put it this way.. I have 15 pounds of 1982 small date..
    Just image the rest😂
