Decent Haul of David Hall Flips!
Found these at an antique store in WI. I have not seen many of these for sale then suddenly 8 of them at one place.

Nice score!
USAF (Ret) 1974 - 1994 - The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries. Remembering RickO, a brother in arms.
Great Catch, Nice Score! is Right.
Very impressive. Were you looking for coins at the antique shop? You just never know where something really cool will show up. I like them!
I always keep an eye out for coins but really I was just browsing to kill some time. Usually coins at an antique store are a bit overpriced but these were fair for what they are. The 53 has some nice cameo contrast as a bonus.

Nice! I keep an eye out for stuff like that also...

It's always interesting to me to see just how many run of the mill proof coins were graded by Mr. Hall back then. Mercury Buffalo's and Morgans are about all else you see. Where are all the type coins? Long ago cut out I suppose...
Still a very cool find. I haven't seen one in the wild for 10 years.

But whether or not it was a score depends on the price. 🤔

The lot was about $300. Based on recent sales that seemed pretty fair.

My BEST Coin Story;
Like I said, "You never know.....". Years ago I was traveling from Philadelphia to Colombus, Ohio. The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant was my traveling companion. We really don't have true antique stores around here in Southern California. So....along the Interstate in Ohio there was Antique Mall after Antique Mall. We just HAD to stop at EVERY one. Those were my orders. So we stopped. I sat in the truck and waited. After awhile here she comes. More thimbles! So.....around dusk I spot another Antique Mall. I tried to misdirect her attention. No luck. Stop! Stop! So I pulled in. But......this time I went inside.......and.....I found two Whitman Dime folders. Mercury and Roosevelt. The Roosevelt, all the silver to 1964 was complete! The Mercury folder had everything except the 1916 D and the 1921's. I bought them. Best part.....the price was BELOW MELT!
Wow.. Great find at an antique store. We have a couple here, and yes, the coins are normally severely overpriced. Selling silver plain, common Morgans for the same price as bullion gold...
Rarely any bargains at those shops. Cheers, RickO
I never limit my searches when I am out and about.
I have never had any real luck like those posted above but I don't get discouraged.
Someday I will score big (I hope, lol).

Kennedys are my quest...
Awesome haul of Halls!
Did you check the '52 for the Superbird variety and the '53 for the re-engraved tailfeathers?
I did, no luck there but they are both way nicer than the 65 grade listed on the flips. I'll try to get some pictures but it might be tough through two layers of plastic.

Thanks for the chance in your generous giveaway! 😅🤣
Nice score!
Really nice find! I am still looking for one of the Hall Flips. Your find continues to give me hope that they are out there...somewhere.

David hall investment group put out a “insider news letter” paper that promoted coins as underrated or underpriced, or the next hot coin.
He would have some of these coins ready to be sold in his flips. The reason so many of the coins are what you see is that those flips is that they we’re available in quantity'
Can’t sell very many half Dismes or 1804 dollars.
I have a Few of his promotions myself. The coins are nice and staye nice in his flip
